ABOUT OUR PRACTICE

Fitness in Motion was founded in 1989 in Upper Sandusky to support and foster the physical well-being for people in the surrounding community. We offer a variety of approaches to achieve and maintain your optimal health. Whether you are looking for a change in your exercise routine or simply want to improve your physical endurance or mental health, Fitness in Motion provides a friendly and supportive environment to do so.

ZUMBA

Move to the music while also getting a good cardio workout. If you’re looking for a low-impact workout, while also having fun— this class is for you!

STRENGTH TRAINING

This class incorporates weight training for a full body exercise. The focus of this class is to strengthen and tone upper body, lower body, and core muscles. 

SPIN

This popular class is performed on a stationary bike. The instructor will direct you on resistance, cadence, and toning movements, all while cycling to specially crafted upbeat music. Spin classes require reservations due to limited bikes. 

STEP INTERVAL

This exercise incorporates the use of a step and weight training. The class is sectioned into timed intervals between step aerobics and weight training. 

LOW IMPACT STRENGTH

Classic strength training that focuses on proper form and body mechanics at a slower pace. This class is perfect for beginners and fitness enthusiasts!

PILATES

Pilates is a low-impact exercise system that uses a series of controlled movements to strengthen and lengthen muscles, improve balance and flexibility, and enhance posture and joint mobility. It's inspired by calisthenics, yoga, and ballet, and focuses on the body's core muscles. Pilates is based on six principles: centering, concentration, control, precision, breath, and flow, which are incorporated into each exercise and movement sequence.
